Friday the kids had their last Easter Egg Hunt field trip to Daisy State Park. They started going in Kindergarten at Kirby and have gone every year so I was kind of sad that this was their first year even though I agree that 3rd grade is probably the last year it is appropriate! LOL! The kids had a great time even though we didn't find all the eggs..guess mowers will get those. :) Well, I was that star mother this year that had the eggs that weren't "hard-boiled" yeah, the kids had a great time smashing the yolks on the eggs I brought! I was afraid they would crack so I took them off after 5 minutes..not a good idea for future reference! No one would've known except my kids had decorated with these great sports stickers I bought and put their numbers on their eggs so everyone was pointing out that those were Carson and Gracen's egg yolks smashed everywhere!!! Then we played in the park area for a couple hours. A great time was had by all! :) Pics are below of our big outing.
